CSD und Pride Month
Nachdem mit der UEFA eines der größten Events im Juli sein Ende findet, steht das nächste schon vor der Tür: Der Pride Month mit seiner kolossalen Parade, die in diesem Jahr am 27. Juli stattfindet. Hierfür kommen wieder tausende Menschen aus aller Welt in die Stadt, um eine der größten Prides in ganz Europa zu feiern. Gemeinsam mit Millionen von Menschen könnt ihr hier euer Zeichen für Toleranz und Freiheit setzen. Abseits der großen Bühne erwarten euch im Juli noch weitere Events der Community, wie das Lesbisch-Schwule Stadtfest oder die Queeren Kunst- und Kulturtage.

Studio of Wonders
In der Mall of Berlin findet ihr aktuell einen Fotospielplatz der besonderen Art. In einer Art offenem Labyrinth könnt ihr hier mehr als 30 Fotosets entdecken, in denen ihr mit euren Liebsten einen Tag voller Spaß und spannender Motive verbringen könnt. Vor Ort könnt ihr euch zudem in das perfekte Outfit für euer Shooting schmeißen und euch mit Fotozubehör (Ring Lights, Stative, etc) ausstatten. Schaut vorbei, Spaß ist garantiert!

Open Air auf dem Bebelplatz
Die Staatskapelle Berlin gibt am 13. Juli eine Live-Performance unter freiem Himmel auf dem historischen Gelände des Bebelplatzes. Wer sein Haus wegen typischer Wetter-Eskapaden oder ähnlichem nicht verlassen möchte, kann sich das Event allerdings auch gemütlich von Zuhause in einer Live-Übertragung gönnen. Auf dem Programm stehen in diesem Jahr ein Doppelpack aus Richards: Wagner und Strauss. Hier wird es schnell voll, kommt also besser früh!

Erlebt das Finale der UEFA-Spiele
Im Juli finden auch die Spiele der UEFA 2024 ihr Ende. Am 14. Juli treten die beiden besten Mannschaften der Meisterschaft im Berliner Olympiastadion gegeneinander an! Auch für nicht-so-Fußballbegeisterte ein spannendes Highlight in der Stadt, das sich zu verfolgen lohnt – vor Ort im oder am Olympiastadion oder den zahlreichen Public Viewing Spots , die in der Stadt verteilt liegen. Eine Sensation wird es in jedem Fall!
Botanische Nacht 2024
Auch in diesem Jahr verwandelt sich der Botanische Garten in ein magisches Dschungelparadies! Dafür sorgen neben beeindruckenden Pflanzen aus aller Welt in der Hauptrolle auch Lichtshows, die riesigen Gewächshäuser und Künstler:innen. Zum 15. Jubiläum des Spektakels gibt es in diesem Jahr zudem eine Besonderheit: Euch erwartet eine nie dagewesene Erlebniswelt, die spannendes Zusatzprogramm verspricht!

UDK-Rundgang
Zum Semesterende öffnet die UDK auch im Juli ihre Pforten. Vor Ort erwarten habt ihr dann Zugang zu den Werkstätten, Ateliers, Studios und Probenräume aller jungen Künstler:innen der Hochschule. Hier könnt ihr die Talente von morgen schon heute bestaunen!

Club-Atmosphäre in der Deutschen Oper
Das Playground Festival kombiniert klassische und elektronische Musik und verschiebt damit Grenzen zwischen den scheinbar oppositionellen Musik-Genres. Dazu wird die Tischlerei der Deutschen Oper in einen Spielplatz der Experimentation verwandelt, auf dem sich elektronische Synthesizer und akustische Instrumente die Hand reichen und dabei gänzlich neue Horizonte eröffnen.

Stadtbad RELOADED
Erkundet ein 96 Jahre altes, stillgelegtes Schwimmbad, das mit 150 beeindruckenden Kunstwerken von internationalen Künstler:innen auf Video Frames wieder zum Leben erwacht! Ein Highlight ist hier auch der Lichthof, der die Ausstellung in zwei verschiedene Atmosphären taucht. Bei intensivem Sonnenschein verschmelzen Kunst und Architektur hier nahtlos. An weniger sonnigen Tagen scheinen die Bildschirme hingegen in den Raum zu schweben und sorgen für eine magische Stimmung!

Poesiefestival
Jeden Sommer wird Berlin zum Zentrum der Poesie. Über 150 Dichter und Künstler aus aller Welt kommen zum Poesiefestival Berlin und zeigen, was gerade in der zeitgenössischen Dichtkunst angesagt ist. Denn Poesie ist längst nicht mehr nur auf Bücher beschränkt. Das Festival experimentiert mit Theater, Performance, Musik, Tanz, Film und digitalen Medien, um die Vielfalt der Poesie erlebbar zu machen. Es zeigt, wie kraftvoll und inspirierend Poesie sein kann und bringt die Sprachkunst ins Rampenlicht. Neue Wege der Präsentation, Publikation und Verbreitung werden erkundet und das Festival erreicht ein weltweites Publikum. Auch Direktoren von Poesiefestivals aus aller Welt treffen sich hier. Im Jahr 2024 feiert das Poesiefestival bereits sein 25. Jubiläum.

Internationales Drehorgelfest
Über 140 Drehorgelspielerinnen und -spieler aus verschiedenen Ländern begeistern auch in diesem Jahr die Besucher:innen mit ihren Instrumenten. Der Höhepunkt des 41. Internationalen Drehorgelfests Berlin ist wie immer die große Parade. Teilnehmer:innen aus mehr als 10 Ländern, darunter Deutschland, Österreich, die Schweiz, Holland, Dänemark, England, Schweden, Finnland, Estland und den USA, werden voraussichtlich beim Festival vertreten sein. Traditionell fand die Parade auf dem Kurfürstendamm statt, doch dieses Jahr zieht das Festival in den Prenzlauer Berg mit Zentrum am Museum Pankow.

Adidas Runners City Night
Straßenfeststimmung auf dem Kudamm: Die Adidas Runners City Night Berlin (früher Vattenfall City-Nacht) verwandelt Berlins weltberühmten Boulevard in eine Sportarena, wo Läufer:innen und Skater:innen die Hauptrolle spielen.Die Runners Night bietet Läufer:innen, Power-Walker:innen und Rollstuhlfahrer:innen die Wahl zwischen einem 5 Kilometer langen „Fun Run“ mit optionaler Zeitmessung oder einer anspruchsvolleren 10 Kilometer langen Strecke. Skater bewältigen die gesamten 10 Kilometer. Begleitet wird das Event von einem spannenden Bühnenprogramm.

Frans Hals: Meister des Augenblicks
Hals (1582/83–1666) war nicht nur bekannt für seine unkonventionellen und ausdrucksstarken Porträts, sondern auch dafür, dass er als erster Künstler in Holland soziale Außenseiter in individuellen Porträts darstellte. Sein Einfluss auf die moderne Malerei der Frühen Neuzeit war unvergleichlich und prägte die Wiederentdeckung des Haarlemer Malers im 19. Jahrhundert maßgeblich. Die Gemäldegalerie plant in Zusammenarbeit mit der National Gallery, London, und dem Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam, eine umfassende monografische Ausstellung, die etwa 70 Werke von Hals umfassen wird.
