Reichenow Castle is a listed mansion in the neo-Gothic style, built between 1897 and 1900 on behalf of August Freiherr von Eckardstein. Its architecture is characterized by typical neo-Gothic elements such as battlements, turrets, and loggias, as well as a two-story plaster building on a high granite base. Particularly impressive are the detailed interiors—such as the vestibule and the salon—which are deliberately modeled on English country estates of the Tudor period. Idyllically situated on the small castle lake in the Märkische Schweiz Nature Park, the estate is ideal for excursions, walks, and bike or boat tours. During the GDR era, the castle was used for a variety of purposes, including as a school. After 1990, the complex underwent extensive renovation, a tower was rebuilt (1996/97), and it was later converted into a hotel and event venue.

Today, Reichenow Castle is a hotel and event venue offering a wide range of possibilities. It has 22 guest rooms and suites with comfortable furnishings and views of the lake or the castle park. The range extends from classic double rooms to spacious suites with four-poster beds. There is also a castle restaurant serving regional cuisine from Berlin and Brandenburg, as well as a cozy bar, a wine cellar, and a terrace that is open to both guests and visitors.
Reichenow Castle is particularly impressive due to its fairytale appearance, which has also established it as a popular film and series location. Among other things, it served as the filming location for “Bibi & Tina – Die Serie” and appears in the plot as “Falkenstein Castle, “ the residence of Count Falko von Falkenstein – with scenes shot directly on the grounds and in the castle park. The Bibi & Tina series of movies, especially the third and fourth installments, also featured scenes shot in the Oderland region, with Reichenow Castle playing a role as a backdrop.
