1st pumpkin show in Brandenburg
You can admire a whole 100,000 pumpkins in every imaginable color and shape in the Brandenburg village of Klaistow. It’s a good 60 km away from the city, but it’s definitely worth a visit. In addition to the largest pumpkin exhibition in the whole of Brandenburg, the village itself is also a real eye-catcher and is a listed building due to its considerable age. In addition to pumpkin figures, you can expect a selection of around 500 varieties from all over the world and a farm store where you can buy all kinds of pumpkin products.

2nd Schöneberg Pumpkin Festival

On 4 and 5 October, Berlin celebrates the 26th Schöneberg Pumpkin Festival, which transforms Akazienstraße into a colorful autumn paradise. Over 10,000 pumpkins in 20 varieties and 140 exhibitors with art, jewelry, fashion and culinary delights await you. Local restaurateurs serve soups, cakes, quiches and lasagnas, as well as wines, liqueurs and other specialties. The festival is a crowd puller in the middle of Berlin and perfect for families, couples or friends who want to enjoy the fall. It is open on Saturday from 11 am to 8 pm and on Sunday from 10 am to 8 pm.

3rd Karl’s spooky October market

Karl’s adventure villages are better known in Berlin’s collective memory for their strawberries, but in October they are also haunted! Around Halloween, the village is transformed into a spooky theme park with scary decorations, terrifying attractions and, of course, a pumpkin market! You can also try all kinds of dishes that feature the round fruit vegetable!

4. pumpkins from the Syringhof farm

A good hour’s drive outside Berlin is a small farm store in the village of Zauchwitz. Here, too, the farmer displays his proudest varieties, which are also processed into interesting delicacies such as candied pumpkin seeds.
