Let’s be honest: When we decide to go out for a really fancy meal and visit one of Berlin’s Michelin-starred restaurants, that doesn’t necessarily mean we’ll leave feeling full and satisfied. Small portions and limited selection are often part of the criteria for famous Michelin-starred restaurants —but when we’re really hungry, we want more than just miniature dishes. Fortunately, Berlin has plenty to offer in this regard as well: from Palestinian all-you-can-eat brunches to Chinese buffets and unlimited hot pot —no one is guaranteed to leave hungry here. But that’s not all. The Han BBQ Berlin restaurant in Charlottenburg offers an all-you-can-eat concept for just €22.50. Unlimited meat, which costs €30.80 per serving à la carte —plus sides.

Han BBQ Berlin is part of a small “Han” group with several locations in Berlin. The concept is based on classic Korean BBQ with table grills, where guests grill and eat together at the table—creating a convivial, almost family-like vibe. The atmosphere is more authentic, cozy, and lively than chic or overly styled.
The menu follows an all-you-can-eat concept centered around samgyeopsal, or Korean pork belly. That means you can order unlimited refills of meat. The price also includes rice, lettuce leaves for wrapping, and various banchan—typical Korean side dishes that are also regularly replenished.
By way of comparison: A serving of about 400 grams of samgyeopsal costs around €30.80 à la carte. That means you’ve theoretically recouped the price of the all-you-can-eat deal after just one large serving.

The meat is described as particularly tender and well-seasoned , and the portion sizes as well as the BBQ selection are also highlighted positively. Many find the experience very authentic and especially appreciate the convivial atmosphere, making the spot particularly well-suited for groups. It’s often said that Korean BBQ here feels almost like being in Seoul .
