With exciting new openings that have recently enriched Berlin’s food scene – including both the city’s largest Asian and Arab supermarkets – we are well equipped for homemade meals. But what if you feel like treating yourself to something outside the home? Who could resist a steaming, spicy hotpot, for example? Not us, that’s for sure. That’s why we’d like to introduce you to the hottest and spiciest new offering in town: Shaniu House of Noodles 2 (Kurfürstenstraße 79, 10787 Berlin) has introduced a permanent all-you-can-eat hotpot concept – not a one-off event, but a permanent offering for anyone who likes their food bubbling and aromatic.

The concept is simple: for €29.90 per person, you can enjoy unlimited hot pot for two hours – a soft drink is included. The ingredients are cooked fresh at your table in your own pot, and you can order more at any time. Highlights include the coconut chicken soup, served in a fresh, real coconut – mild, creamy, slightly sweet, and currently a real unique selling point in Berlin. Equally popular is the spicy Sichuan beef base: aromatic and spicy, pleasantly hot, with the level of spiciness adjustable to suit individual tastes. Hotpot here means you choose your broth(s), get your own pot, and put together your own menu according to your taste.

The selection of ingredients includes beef, chicken, lamb, seafood, and fish, fresh vegetables, and other specialties (depending on the daily specials). The price is attractive by Berlin standards—especially since hotpot is often more expensive—and the focus is on high-quality ingredients. As an interactive meal, it is ideal for groups. The offer is valid every day of the week. Important: It is only available at Shaniu House of Noodles 2 at Kurfürstenstraße 79, not at the second location in Friedrichshain. Sounds like a real deal, right? So what are you waiting for? Dig in!
