Even though the outdoor pool season in Berlin has long since come to an end, the capital has many wonderful indoor swimming pools to offer. We have picked out the most beautiful ones for you, which invite you to take a long dip even in cooler temperatures. Here are our favorites!
Charlottenburg municipal swimming pool
In Charlottenburg you will not only find one of the most beautiful indoor swimming pools in Berlin, but also the oldest! Old pillars support a no less old construction made of metal and tiles. The walls are adorned with old paneling depicting nymphs bathing. With a length of 25m, the pool is not necessarily worthwhile for ambitious professional swimmers, but it is worth a visit for the eye alone!

Hotel Oderberger
In the middle of Prenzlauer Berg one of the most magnificent indoor swimming pools in Berlin awaits you! founded in 1902 as a public baths, it has undergone a transformation over the past 120 years to become a chic hotel. Fortunately, however, the operators do not gatekeep the beautiful indoor pool and also allow people who are not guests of the hotel to enjoy a relaxing swimming experience. The hall itself is furnished with old gargoyles and columns that immerse you in a uniquely antique atmosphere. A visit is particularly worthwhile in the dark. This is when the ultra-modern chandeliers above the pool really come into their own!

Indoor swimming pool of the future
After so many swims in the waters of the past, it’s time for something a little more modern! That’s what the Liquidrom offers us! Here you can really unwind in a darkened atmosphere. In addition to the thermal pool with underwater music, there are also various saunas on offer here, along with a Japanese-style onsen and spa treatments.

The old baths in Spandau offer a similar experience. Here, too, you can swim as you did 100 years ago, in an arched hall illuminated by old lanterns. Saunas are also available here!

In the glass box
In contrast, less historical vibes await you at Stadtbad Mitte. Architecturally, however, it quickly puts other indoor swimming pools in the shade! The majority of the swimming area is glazed, giving you a wonderful view of the surrounding buildings and the sky over Berlin!
