We’ve long since said goodbye to summer in Berlin. Winter is already in full swing here – and even though it’s part of the Christmas season, sometimes we just get tired of the cold. But to avoid constantly warming our hands on a mug and putting on five layers of clothing before leaving the house, there’s a much better idea: book a direct flight from Berlin and escape the German winter. Just five hours later, you can arrive in Gran Canaria in Spain – where a completely different season begins under the palm trees with pleasant 20 to 24 degrees.
When we tell you that Gran Canaria offers an all-round experience, we mean it. Starting with the best climate in the world, which several climate studies have already confirmed with the mild temperatures – rarely extremely hot. Then you won’t just find run-of-the-mill beaches here, but a real Sahara feeling on the dunes of Maspalomas. Sunsets that look like paintings and a natural phenomenon that you won’t find anywhere else.
