A hidden winter wonderland in Neukölln – full of Scandinavian traditions, coziness and closeness to nature. You can visit the historic Christmas market on all four Advent weekends. Organized by the artists of the travelling theater “Cocolorus Budenzauber”, a creative programme with fantastic shows awaits you. The Snow Queen, her cheeky trolls and even Mother Hulda mingle with visitors at the Nordic Fairytale Christmas and invite young and old alike to the magical stage of the traveling theater.

At the theater wagon, in the fairytale tent, on the open-air stage and on the troll meadow, you can experience fairytale stories with hand puppets, theater, magic, dance and acrobatics – all in lovingly designed winter costumes. And there’s not just a lot to watch: there are numerous hands-on activities on the estate, a wooden water wheel and impressive Viking boats to climb on, making the experience even more exciting.

After so much entertainment and fun, you’ll get hungry – which is why the Nordic Fairytale Christmas also caters for your physical well-being. The Scandinavian delicacies include roasted almonds, apple fritters, crêpes, marzipan specialties, lángos, bruschetta flatbreads and grilled fire meat. In addition to classic and red mulled wine, there is medieval spiced wine, hot quince mead and the Scandinavian mulled punch Glögg. Warming elderberry and apple punch awaits the kids. The evening ends with an impressive fire show by “Araga Mysteria”.
