1. Excursion to lofty heights
Our first destination is not just a nerve-wracking experience for your children! Adults can also use the Forest high ropes course and overcome both physical and mental hurdles together with their little ones. This means that your outing will not just be occupational therapy for children, but a family team-building event. The high ropes course is located in the middle of Volkspark Jungfernheide, the second largest in Berlin. Depending on the course, you can climb between 3 and 17 meters into the trees. The ideal course is not necessarily determined by the age of the participants, but by the height of the grip – measured with both arms stretched out above the head. If this is over 1.45 m, your three-legged friend is ready for his first adventure on the rope. Prices start from €18 per person.
2. A colorful children’s paradise
An absolute paradise for the little ones: Legoland in Berlin! In the world-famous world of colorful stones, both young and old get their money’s worth. Learn all about the production of Lego and even press the buttons of the modeling machine yourself. A particularly exciting experience for the little ones is the dragon ride in the enchanted castle, where you can ride together as a family through the dark labyrinth!
3. Time travel to the Middle Ages
A special kind of excursion is promised by the Düppel Museum Village. Here, everything revolves around life in the Middle Ages in the Berlin primeval swamp. The village is modeled on a settlement from the early 13th century and consists mainly of cozy wooden buildings. Showmen” live” in them, reconstructing the everyday life of the villagers and also involving the modern audience. Young and old alike can get hands-on and try out medieval utensils for themselves. The museum is open between March and November at weekends from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and also daily during the vacations.

6. Animal safari in the north of Berlin
About 60 km north of Berlin, we find the tranquil village of Sonnenberg, surrounded by forests and asparagus fields. The last thing you would expect to see here is a herd of tiny alpacas, and yet you will find them right here! On the Tiny Alpaca Town Farm you can literally get up close and personal with the fluffy ruminants and wander through the idyllic little village with them. You might even spot deer or foxes that also call the area home.
7. The city in miniature
Experience Berlin in miniature through a detailed exhibition in Little Big City, where you can discover the history of the city in a modern and playful way with your children. Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of small wonders and discover the sights and events of Berlin together, which are both fascinating and educational for children. Every child will have big eyes here!
8. Exploration in a double-decker
If you prefer a trip that doesn’t put too much pressure on your wallet, you can also experience a lot on public transport! Line 100 is particularly suitable, as it frequents all of Berlin’s hubs and also only runs double-decker buses. With a seat on the upper floor, you can comfortably explore all of Berlin’s architectural and historical landmarks in one tour without having to elbow your way through the tourist hotspot. A wonderful option, especially for rainy days!
9. Mirror labyrinth
In the Mirror labyrinth you and your little ones can look forward to an excursion that encourages reflection. If you’re sedated from all the sightseeing and want to feel a breath of fresh air between your ears again, this is the place for you. Hundreds of mirrors are arranged here in an optical illusion from which visitors have to find their way out. Ideally without bumping your head on the glass panes. A refreshing and fun experience for the whole family!
