The time has finally come: the first warmer days are arriving and the atmosphere in the capital is completely different. Immediately, there is a colorful hustle and bustle outside and everyone wants only one thing: to enjoy the sun. Fortunately, Berlin has a lot to offer, so there is plenty to do – week after week, month after month. Here are five things we are particularly looking forward to this spring in Berlin.
1. Grab an ice cream at Gelateria Mos Eisley and head to the park

The most popular ice cream shop in Schillerkiez is often very busy on warm days. And rightly so, because the ice cream here tastes really great. About a hundred meters further on is the entrance to Tempelhofer Feld. Here you can chill out and relax with your ice cream.
2. Eat delicious pizza at ZOLA in the courtyard

This hip pizzeria offers delicious Neapolitan wood-fired pizza and great desserts. Especially in summer, there’s a great atmosphere here, because you can make yourself comfortable in the cozy courtyard. Let’s go! You can find an overview of the best pizzas in Berlin here.
3. Eat homemade waffles at Kauf Dich Glücklich Café

Oderberger Straße is probably one of the most beautiful streets in Berlin, located right next to the popular Mauerpark. Here you will find the cute Kauf Dich Glücklich Café, where you can enjoy a homemade waffle on the beautiful terrace with a view of the beautiful old buildings. What more could you want?
4. Tuck into delicious croissants at La Maison am Ufer

The hotspot on the Landwehr Canal – and rightly so. La Maison will take care of you with delicious French pastries, great coffee, and the occasional cocktail. The café also offers a huge outdoor area with a view of the canal. Let’s go!
5. Enjoy the view of the city from Berlin’s rooftops
It’s almost a cliché, but the view from the Neukölln Arcaden is unbeatable –as is the view from all the other rooftops in the city. Before you sit down at the Klunkerkranich, you can grab a bite to eat at one of the many food stalls on Karl-Marx-Straße or take advantage of the changing food offerings directly upstairs. Watching the sun set over the Berlin skyline with a cool drink in your hand is the perfect way to end any summer day.
