Berlin’s culinary scene is impressive. From the best pizzerias to high-class vegan restaurants, there is something for every taste in the capital. Now there is a new highlight: the pop-up event “Far from Seoul” in Berlin’s Wedding district offers insights into Korean cuisine throughout March 2026. From March 3 to 28, you can enjoy the food here and experience a rare opportunity to experience Korean haute cuisine in an intimate setting.
Dining like in Seoul
Behind the project is chef Moses Yoon, who is taking over the well-known restaurant UUU at Sprengelstraße 15 for this pop-up. He currently works in a fine dining restaurant and prepares multi-course menus for you. This concept is being transferred to the pop-up: the chef combines contemporary Korean cuisine with regional influences from Berlin and Brandenburg.
Moses Yoon’s portfolio offers insights into his culinary skills. He works mainly with regional products and maintains close ties with local producers. Only a few ingredients come from Korea – but these are essential for creating the original flavor. Yoon thus creates modern dishes with deep Korean roots.
Only this March: Fine dining from Korea

The pop-up takes place from Tuesday to Saturday. Unfortunately, it’s not exactly cheap, but you do get several high-class courses for your money. The six- to seven-course menu costs 85 euros, while the extended ten- to eleven-course menu is available for 135 euros.
You can look forward to an exclusive fine dining experience. In addition to the menu, special drinks are offered that are perfectly paired with the dishes. These include Korean sool, for example.
Due to the limited seating at UUU and the highly exclusive nature of the event, reservations are required. Book early via the website, as such pop-ups in the Berlin food scene are usually quickly sold out. There are still seats available at “Far from Seoul” that you should secure. Rarely will you get so close to Korean delicacies.
