We embarked on a calorie-laden field test to find the best pizzas in the capital for you! First things first: this list is not a ranking and is certainly not exhaustive. After all, you never know where the next worthwhile restaurant will pop up in Berlin…
1. Escendo Pizzeria

A visit to Escendo is like a short trip to Italy. In addition to great food and friendly customer service, they offer what we’re looking for today: good pizza! It scores particularly well with its thin yet sturdy crust, which is topped with a variety of interesting toppings.

2. The Grain

The pizza makers at The Grain, located directly across the street, see themselves first and foremost as bakers. Accordingly, the team places a high value on quality, starting with the ideal composition of the dough. Add to that innovative toppings that venture beyond the standard tomato sauce, creating a wonderfully fluffy pizza experience!

3. Gemello
Gemello could be described as Berlin’s pizza nomad. This one-man show bakes vegan pizzas in the Neapolitan style that go far beyond the usual combinations of tomato sauce and mozzarella. 4. Mamida
The fusion of passion and experience of Mamida’s chefs has led to a new vision of pizza: sourdough is mastered to perfection here, and the menu offers a refreshing and unconventional selection with seasonal toppings.

5. Nini e Pettirosso

At Nini e Petirrosso, the focus is on authentic Neapolitan pizza, and it certainly lives up to expectations! With a crispy crust and thin base, you can expect lots of delicious creations here. The large selection also includes exciting options for vegans. A big bonus: you can then devour your pizza in the adjacent Körnerpark, surrounded by beautiful scenery.
