The FEZ is the largest nonprofit children’s, youth, and family center in Europe and brings together numerous recreational, cultural, and educational offerings across 13,000 m² of indoor space and 175,000 m² of outdoor space . These include, among other things, play and activity areas, a theater, a children’s museum, a space center, an indoor swimming pool, a swimming lake, a movie theater, and various nature-based activities.
FEZ stands for “Leisure and Recreation Center.” The facility is located in the heart of Wuhlheide Forest Park in Berlin-Treptow-Köpenick and is less a traditional amusement park than a blend of an adventure world, an educational center, a cultural venue, and a sprawling family recreation area.
