To reach the final at the 2026 World Cup, Germany must first survive the group stage and then fight their way through the knockout rounds. The dates for the group stage have already been set:
- Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.: Germany vs. Curaçao (in Houston)
- Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 10:00 p.m.: Germany vs. Ivory Coast (in Toronto)

For the subsequent knockout stage, there are two main paths, depending on whether Germany finishes first or second in the group:
