TAFA Samoan Bakery, Germany’s first Samoan bakery, opened as a pop-up in Berlin in early July. Through July 31, you can get 100% homemade and vegan Pani Popo here— soft yeast rolls baked in sweet coconut milk, which are among Samoa’s most famous specialties. In addition to the classic version, there are also creative variations featuring mango or matcha-lime. The pop-up is open Fridays through Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Friedelstraße 29 in Neukölln.

Pride Month, with its massive parade, which takes place this year on July 25. Thousands of people from all over the world will once again flock to the city to celebrate one of the largest Pride events in all of Europe. Summer Highlight Amid a Sea of Lights: Water Lantern Festival Berlin at Britzer Garten
Let hundreds of glowing lanterns carry your wishes across the lake. As Berlin buzzes well into the evening in July, this event delivers a particularly atmospheric moment: On July 24 and 25, 2026, the Water Lantern Festival will transform the Britzer Garten into a magical sea of lights. Hundreds of lanterns bearing messages will be set afloat at dusk—accompanied by live music and street food.
International Barrel Organ Festival
Once again this year, July in Berlin brings the International Barrel Organ Festival— with over 140 barrel organ players from all over the world! Now in its 45th year, the festival brings nostalgic sounds to the streets, culminating in its traditional highlight: the grand parade. Participants from more than ten countries—including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Denmark, England, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, and the U.S.—ensure an international flair and musical diversity. For three days, nostalgic melodies from historic barrel organs from around the world will ring out along the Greenwich Promenade, in Alt-Tegel, and along Gorkistraße. Highlights include the grand barrel organ parade through Tegel and the traditional concert at the Alt-Tegel village church.
