CSD and Pride Month
Pride Month with its colossal parade, which takes place this year on July 26. Thousands of people from all over the world will once again come to the city to celebrate one of the biggest Prides in the whole of Europe. Together with millions of people, you can make your mark for tolerance and freedom. Away from the big stage, other community events await you in July, such as the Lesbian-Gay City Festival or the Queer Art and Culture Days.

Open air on the Bebelplatz
On July 13, 2025, the Staatskapelle Berlin will give an exclusive live concert in the open air on the historic Bebelplatz. The program includes a powerful “double bill” of the two “Richards” – Wagner and Strauss – conducted by Christian Thielemann. If you prefer to listen from the comfort of your own home, you can watch the live broadcast on the Staatsoper website or via ARTE TV/rbb. Tip: As it gets crowded quickly, arrive early – and bring blankets or camping chairs!

Britzer Garden Night
July in Berlin has a real open-air highlight in store for the whole family! On July 26 from 5 pm, the idyllic Britzer Garten in Neukölln will be transformed into a glowing dream world. Look forward to magical light installations, rousing live music, acrobatic shows and fiery productions – something to fall in love with. Highlights include the Valley of the Elves, the Land of the Dwarves and the Dragon’s Nest on the lakeshore – imaginatively designed adventure spaces that enchant visitors of all ages. At the end of the semester, the UdK opens its doors to all curious visitors again in July. Once again this year, July brings the International Barrel Organ Festival to Berlin – with over 140 barrel organ players from all over the world! For the 44th time, the festival will bring nostalgic sounds to the streets with the traditional highlight: the big parade. Participants from more than ten countries, including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Denmark, England, Sweden, Finland, Estonia and the USA, ensure an international flair and musical diversity. While the festival took place once in Prenzlauer Berg in 2024, it will return to its traditional venue in 2025: the barrel organ parade will once again take place on Kurfürstendamm, with the festival center at Breitscheidplatz in Berlin’s City West.

Street party feeling on the Ku’damm! On July 26, 2025, Adidas Runners City Night will once again transform Berlin’s famous boulevard into a vibrant sports arena with thousands of runners, skaters and fans lining the route. Whether amateur runners, power walkers or wheelchair athletes – there is a 5-kilometer fun run (with or without timekeeping) or the 10-kilometer course for more ambitious participants. Skaters also complete the full 10 km at a good pace through the city in the evening. The whole thing is accompanied by a rousing stage program, music along the route and a real festival atmosphere in Berlin’s City West.
