The former Bergmannstraße Festival looks back on a long-standing tradition: Since June 1994, the neighborhood has celebrated the harmonious coexistence of generations and cultures in Berlin. If you’re in the mood for a summer day trip from Berlin in June, the Europa-Rosarium in Sangerhausen (Saxony-Anhalt) is a real highlight: Over 80,000 rose bushes representing more than 8,600 varieties grow across roughly 13 hectares —making the garden the largest documented rose collection in the world.
