Cinema, popcorn and beds? Sounds almost too good to be true!
We love it: your huge screen, your sound quality. We love the feeling of a dark auditorium where no social media notifications or household items spoil the movie experience. We love it even more when the seats are sink-in or have reclining backrests. But what if the movie theater had beds instead of seats?
The Bed Cinema at the Traumpalast Leonberg near Stuttgart answers this question. Opened at the end of 2021, it is the only cinema in southern Germany to be equipped with beds (and one of the few in the German-speaking world). A total of 20 high-quality double beds fill the auditorium, with a remote control to adjust the headboards and pleasant lighting in the bed alcove. A private bedside table is available for snacks and drinks.
Here you can find the current cinema program.
Good to know: Thanks to the high-quality leather upholstery, the beds are very easy to clean and a screen above your head offers you plenty of privacy. For watching movies, of course. Not for falling asleep. Or to get to know each other. As real movie professionals, you would never do that!
The Traumpalast Leonberg may be 630 km away from Berlin, but wouldn’t that be the perfect opportunity for a little trip to Baden-Württemberg? How about a visit to Stuttgart – and a unique movie experience to top it all off? Whether it’s a family day out with the kids, a relaxed weekend or a romantic date – this trip to the movies is always a good idea. So, what are you waiting for?
