Since its founding in January 2015, the historic courtyard of the KulturBrauerei has been transformed every Sunday into a culinary paradise featuring international specialties, food trucks, and a relaxed neighborhood atmosphere.
The market takes place at the KulturBrauerei at Schönhauser Allee 36–39 in Prenzlauer Berg. The former 19th-century brewery grounds are now among the capital’s most beautiful historic event complexes. Every Sunday, a special atmosphere takes shape among the historic brick buildings, making the market a popular meeting place for food lovers.
The event takes place every Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p. m. The 2026 season runs from January 25 to November 8, and admission is free. What makes the market special is its mix of Berlin food trucks, small artisanal producers, and international cuisine from around the world. Added to this are regularly changing culinary themes, a family-friendly atmosphere, cozy seating in thehistoric courtyard, as well as music and drinks from the adjacent Frannz Club beer garden.
The culinary offerings are also diverse and constantly changing. Visitors can look forward to tacos, quesadillas, and burritos; Korean fried chicken; Brazilian specialties and caipirinhas; Indian curries and biryani; empanadas; organic burgers; tarte flambée; as well as Baumstriezel and other sweet desserts, among other things.
The market has long since become more than just a place to eat and has evolved into an integral part of Berlin’s Sunday lineup. Time and again, Street Food auf Achse collaborates with other KulturBrauerei events, including the Fête de la Musique, the Brass Festival, women’s flea markets, as well as seasonal and Christmas markets.
In the summer, the courtyards and the beer garden invite you to linger for hours under the open sky . During the colder months, fire pits and covered areas ensure that the market can be visited year-round. Even in bad weather, you can enjoy the food at the adjacent Frannz Club.
