It is an almost impossible task to rank all the open-air cinemas in Berlin: They are all great. Nevertheless, we have taken the trouble to select the 15 most fascinating ones. Don’t worry: Almost every district gets a turn. Roll the movie!

The atmospheric open-air cinema in the lush, green inner courtyard of Bethanien impresses with its special atmosphere and great cinema program. 4. Summer cinema in the Britzer Garten
One of Berlin’s most beautiful parks/gardens also takes part in the summer open-air movie season. Only a few, but well-chosen films adorn the program. We recommend combining an evening at the movies with an afternoon in the park, which is still almost an insider tip for many.

4. Summer cinema Kulturforum
Of course, how can we skip the summer cinema at the Kulturforum? Where you can not only enjoy beautiful films on a balmy summer evening, but also the panorama of the Kulturforum and the big-city feeling of nearby Potsdamer Platz? I mean… the Instagram post up there speaks for itself.
