Demos equal boredom? Not necessarily. Why fight grumpily and dryly for something we can also live directly? The world-famous Love Parade has been celebrated annually in Berlin again since its relaunch in 2022 under the name Rave the Planet. Initiated by the original Love Parade founder Dr. Motte, the Straße des 17. Juni is transformed into a pulsating symbol of love, humanity, diversity and peace. Accompanied by techno, which the city literally breathes, the event brings Berliners together in the most authentic way. The last Rave the Planet Parade took place on July 12, 2025 and transformed Berlin into a gigantic dance floor – a powerful symbol of cohesion and freedom. Every year, the parade attracts around 200,000 to 400,000 people who want to demonstrate, but not in a dry way, but as a huge, open party in which everyone can participate. Because that’s what counts here: Diversity, peace and solidarity.
On August 15, 2026, the next Rave the Planet Parade awaits you on the Straße des 17. Under the motto “IMAGINE LOVE”, the aim is to call on people to rethink love – and to reflect on the attitudes that shape our everyday lives. In a time full of social challenges, it is more important than ever to set a common example of compassion, respect and cohesion. And our common language for this? Music. Our expression? Dance. The parade will become a place where understanding, diversity and community become a reality. Between the Brandenburg Gate and the Great Star, we don’t just have to imagine love – we can feel it, see it and experience it, surrounded by hundreds of thousands celebrating it together. Rave the Planet remains a cultural movement and is far more than just another open-air techno party in Berlin. Its aim is to make a strong statement – in the happiest and most beautiful way possible.
