The wildlife park is located near Neuruppin in Brandenburg, in the middle of a 101-hectare nature reserve, and is best known for the fact that almost exclusively native and European wildlife lives here in a near-natural environment. Unlike traditional zoos, the place feels much more pristine and peaceful, as the expansive enclosures blend directly into the surrounding forest landscape.
In total, you can discover around 500 animals and 90 different species here. Among the biggest highlights are wolves, lynx, and bison, which attract a particularly large number of visitors.
