Spot monkeys, a white lion, and Siberian tigers
The absolute highlight of the zoo is the free-roaming monkeys! In a special, walk-through enclosure, the curious lemurs scamper right over your heads, without any fences or glass panes.
The majestic Siberian tigers, the cute penguins, and the laid-back kangaroos are sure to delight visitors of all ages.
The fantastic, spacious adventure playgrounds provide the ultimate fun factor at the end of the visit. Here, the kids can let off steam while you sit back on a bench and relax with a cup of coffee.
Getting to the Eberswalde Zoological Garden
🚗 If you take the car, you can get there from Berlin in just under an hour via the A11 highway (Finowfurt exit) and the B167 federal highway. There’s plenty of free parking available on site.
🚌 By public transit, take the RE3 train from Berlin Central Station to Eberswalde Central Station. From there, bus line 865 will take you right to the zoo entrance (heading toward Gropius Hospital).
