The capital has a selection of techno clubs that seems almost inexhaustible. Of course, Berghain is probably the most famous of them all – and not without reason: even international pop icons dedicate entire anthems to it. But it is by no means the only place in Berlin where you can party to techno excess. From KitKat, which stands out with its probably weirdest dress code, to Renate, which scores with its labyrinthine house party feeling, to Sisyphos, which exudes real outdoor festival vibes with its spacious outdoor area – Berlin has them all. But of course it doesn’t end there. Today we would like to introduce you to a very special space that is not only known for its music, but also for its art installations: the DSTRKT Club Berlin (formerly Anomalie Art Club) at Storkower Straße 123.

The Anomalie Art Club opened in 2017 and offered a distinctive platform for art, artists and cultural workers – a unique place where techno music, art and culture merged together. On April 22, 2025, the club was renamed DSTRKT Club Berlin and redesigned under new management. While the former venue was already a hybrid art and club venue, the organizers of the HIVE festival have taken this concept and developed it further.
The futuristic industrial style has been retained, but has been reinterpreted with a sophisticated design on three floors – hall, workshop and canteen – as well as an outdoor area with chill-out zones. The result is an expansive space for deep techno, electronic art and creative encounters. The Berlin organizer collective HIVE is still committed to continuing the unique combination of techno music, art and culture. Today, DSTRKT sees itself as an urban playground with a sensory architecture designed to leave a lasting impression and move people. A first-class sound system and a precisely coordinated lighting design ensure an immersive experience in which each area is carefully designed and each event is committed to its own style.
