The city that never sleeps, the party paradise of Europe with internationally renowned clubs where entry is harder to get than a VIP table in Las Vegas. This is Berlin – the European center for music, where not only techno but every conceivable genre comes together in the form of concerts, musicals and shows. No wonder the world-famous Cirque du Soleil shows have regularly chosen the city as a permanent fixture on their German tours since 1995. In November 2025, however, the capital will experience a very special premiere: Cirque du Soleil ALIZÉ, the first permanent European resident show to be performed exclusively at the
theater at Potsdamer Platz.

What can you expect from Cirque du Soleil “Alizé”?
“Alizé” is Cirque du Soleil’s 54th original production and the company’s first permanent show in Europe. It impresses with a completely new circus concept. Under the realization and direction of Fabrice Becker and the renowned French directors and magicians Valentine Losseau and Raphaël Navarro, a world first has been created for the stage. The innovative concept of “Alizé” and “Acromagic” presents a unique fusion of top-class acrobatics and modern magic.
In the “Alizé” show, the captivating story of four characters unfolds as they travel through surreal worlds. Their path leads them to a new, fascinating consciousness, where they leave their previous lives behind and see the world with new eyes forever. The backdrop for this spectacle is the Theater am Potsdamer Platz, which has been extensively redesigned especially for this production. The audience can expect moments of amazement and rapture when magic and acrobatics come together in an indescribable way. The artists float above the heads of the audience while immersive and visual illusions are created that take your breath away.

The effort and investment for “Alizé” was enormous. 43 artists from 21 countries were engaged for the show’s ensemble, and tens of millions of euros were invested in the production. The world premiere in Berlin will take place on November 20, 2025, while previews will begin as early as October 24, 2025. You can purchase tickets for the various dates via the official Cirque du Soleil “Alizé” website.
