Lying back on the beach, sipping cocktails, and just doing nothing— does that sound like your perfect summer? Whether at Charlie’s Beach right in the city center or at BeachMitte, where you can also get active— there’s no shortage of summer destinations around Berlin . But if that’s not adventurous enough for you and you’re looking for a real recreational experience, the water parks around the capital are the perfect choice. And next summer, another highlight is on the way: The Bibi & Tina Amusement Park will be one of Germany’s biggest new amusement park openings in 2027.

In Elstal, about 40 kilometers west of Berlin, the world’s first theme park based on the popular children’s and youth series Bibi & Tina is currently under construction. The project is being developed by Robert Dahl, the founder of Karls Tourismus. The park combines the world of Bibi and Tina with the successful Karls concept of recreation, dining, shopping, and lodging —and it will continue to operate without a traditional admission fee.
The amusement park is being built right next to the Karls Adventure Village Elstal in the municipality of Wustermark in the Havelland region. The opening is scheduled for July 1, 2027 . An important milestone for this major project was already celebrated on July 1, 2026, with a topping-out ceremony. Brandenburg’s Minister President Dietmar Woidke attended the event alongside Karls founder Robert Dahl and the beloved characters Bibi and Tina. He described the new amusement park as a unique destination with supraregional tourist appeal that will attract families from all over Germany to Brandenburg.

The new amusement park will be the world’s first Bibi & Tina theme park and will span more than 35,000 square meters— an area larger than five soccer fields. Plans include four large themed areas, eleven attractions, nine free activities, four areas for animal encounters, ten dining venues, four themed shops, and a hotel with 46 individually designed themed rooms. As with all Karls locations, admission will remain free here as well.
The entire park is modeled after the series’ most famous locations. Visitors can stroll through the faithfully recreated Martinshof or explore the famous Falkenstein Castle . These settings are complemented by additional themed worlds centered on friendship, horses, nature, and adventure. The goal is to bring the world of Bibi and Tina to life as authentically as possible and to let visitors fully immerse themselves in the stories of these beloved characters.
The most spectacular highlight will be a true world first: the first dual-launch family coaster with a Möbius design. The family roller coaster features two parallel tracks that cross each other multiple times during the ride. Several acceleration sections provide extra thrills. Large jukeboxes in each car allow riders to listen to music together and sing along during the ride. That’s why the attraction has already been nicknamed the “Karaoke Coaster.” The design is considered the first of its kind in Germany and is already ranked among the most innovative family roller coasters in Europe.
