Anyone who thinks Charlottenburg is just for the sophisticated coffee crowd is wrong in this case. At the legendary Kant-Garagenpalast, “DUFTE Berlin” has opened—a space that combines a food market, cultural venue, and neighborhood hangout across more than 1,000 square meters. From Tuesday through Saturday, four unique dining concepts, two bars, an on-site bakery, and weekly cultural events come together here. We’ll tell you why you should putthis new spot at the top of your list for your next night out with friends.
Culinary Delights Meet Art: What to Expect at the Kant Garages

Don’t want to commit to just one style? At Dufte Berlin, you don’t have to. The concept is all about diversity. Four kitchens share the space between massive concrete pillars. From fresh pasta straight from the workshop (Mani in Pasta) to traditional hummus culture (Abuya), Indian-Mexican fusion creations (Curried Cactus), and modern German cuisine (TACHO)—there’s something for everyone.
Even in the morning, the aroma of fresh sourdough bread from the Domberger Brot-Werkstatt wafts through the halls. In the evening, the ground floor transforms into a lively gathering spot with two bars and nine taps, serving, among other things, locally brewed beer.
Cultural program from Tuesday through Saturday

Every weekday brings its own special flair. “Tasty Tuesday” is all about liquid experiments, “Why-Not-Wednesday” features avant-garde sounds, and on Fridays, DJs spin tunes for the oak barrel tapping. On Saturday afternoons, you can look forward to a combination of oysters, Mett, and bubbly.
For public transit, take the S-Bahn or U-Bahn to Savignyplatz or Wilmersdorfer Straße and walk just a few minutes to Kantstraße.
If you’re driving, head straight to Kantstraße 127 in Charlottenburg, but be prepared to be patient when looking for parking around the Wilmersdorf neighborhood.
