The season of golden, orange and red colors is back and makes the landscapes look like works of art. Everywhere in Germany you can experience the autumnal splendor and spend a wonderful autumn vacation in idyllic natural locations throughout the country. As always, there is also a lot going on in the city: the month is packed with exciting events and Berlin in particular has a lot to look forward to in the fall – including this festival on October 4 and 5. The Schöneberg Pumpkin Festival has long been a real fall classic among Berlin’s city and street festivals.
This weekend, Akazienstraße will once again be transformed into a colorful autumn paradise from Hauptstraße to Grunewaldstraße. Colorful pumpkins, lovingly decorated stalls and a cheerful hustle and bustle await visitors. Thousands of the large, round, orange autumn favorites, which get us in the perfect mood for Halloween, can be discovered here fresh from the grower. They are joined by potatoes, apples, berries and much more – all available directly on site.

Over 10,000 pumpkins in 20 different varieties await you at the Schöneberg Pumpkin Festival. Local restaurateurs will transform them into delicious pumpkin soups, macaroons, cakes, lasagnas, quiches and many other delicacies. There will also be 140 exhibitors on site, presenting their unique wares from the fields of jewelry, art, fashion, accessories and more. A place that will spoil you with culinary delights and is also perfect for an autumnal stroll. You shouldn’t miss out on the legendary, freshly prepared pumpkin soup – it warms you up from the inside and makes you happy.
But it’s not just everything to do with pumpkins that you can discover: Wines, liqueurs, oysters, Mexican tortillas and many other delicacies also await you. For three generations now, the Schöneberg Pumpkin Festival has been an absolute crowd-puller in the heart of Berlin. People meet here to chat, eat, drink and shop in the charm of autumn. Many exhibitors can only be found at this street festival, so you shouldn’t miss the opportunity to discover special treasures – or pick up fresh pumpkins for your own autumnal recipes.
The festival takes place on Saturday from 11 am to 8 pm and on Sunday from 10 am to 8 pm.
