What you can expect at “ORIGINS”
Eight exhibition rooms await you in the Reinbeckhallen with impressive light and sound worlds as well as room-filling 360° projections created by international artists. The multimedia tour takes you from the beginnings of the universe to the emergence of complex living beings. A video gallery shows special digital works. Precise 3D models of early life forms and immersive installations illustrate the depth, dynamism, and beauty of our evolutionary history.
With the optional VR experience “First Life,” accompanied by David Attenborough, you travel 3.5 billion years back in time to encounter the first living creatures on Earth. Digital art, state-of-the-art technology, and fascinating knowledge unfold here in a unique industrial setting. An audiovisual journey of discovery
The most exciting question of all – where we come from – has preoccupied humanity since time immemorial. After its world premiere in Leipzig with over 75,000 visitors, “ORIGINS – an immersive journey to the origins of life” has been on display at the Reinbeckhallen in Berlin since October 24, 2025. The venue is easily accessible by public transport (S-Bahn, tram, regional transport) or by car; limited parking is also available on site.
