Summer is the perfect time for open-air festivals and unforgettable outdoor events . From Pride to major music festivals, there’s something for everyone this season. One of Europe’s biggest music festivals is one you definitely shouldn’t miss: Lollapalooza. On July 18 and 19, 2026 , the festival returns to Berlin, transforming the Berlin Olympic Stadium and the adjacent Olympic Park into a massive festival grounds featuring multiple stages, top international acts, and a diverse supporting program.
The festival takes place at the Olympic Stadium and Olympic Park Berlin at Olympischer Platz 3 in Berlin-Westend. From Alexanderplatz, you can reach the venue by public transportation in about 35 to 45 minutes, or by car in about 25 to 35 minutes, depending on traffic.
On both days of the festival, international artists will perform simultaneously on multiple stages. The lineup ranges from pop, hip-hop, EDM, and rock to indie and electronic music. The stages are spread across the entire Olympic grounds—from large open-air areas to sections surrounding the Olympic Stadium. This allows visitors to switch between different concerts throughout the day and create their own personalized festival schedule.
Acts confirmed so far include Pitbull, Lewis Capaldi, Lorde, Ayliva, Teddy Swims, Lily Allen, Zara Larsson, Tom Odell, Anitta, and Zartmann. Additional artists will round out the lineup on the smaller stages.
In addition to the music , the festival offers numerous food stands, art installations, interactive areas, and activities for families with children. Sustainability also plays an important role—the festival has been certified as sustainable since 2022.
The festival takes place on July 18 and 19, 2026, with the grounds open on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to midnight. The concerts run late into the evening. Up to 60,000 visitors are expected per festival day. The venue features multiple stages in the Olympic Stadium and Olympic Park, making it one of Germany’s largest music events. Lollapalooza Berlin has been held at the Olympic grounds since 2018 and is part of the international festival series.
