After almost four years away from music, the British singer-songwriter is back with his fourth studio album. Harry Styles confirmed the news on Instagram and shared the presumed album cover: The album, titled “Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally,” will be released on March 6. This comes as no surprise to many fans. Back in December, Styles released an eight-minute YouTube video titled “Forever, Forever,” which features footage from a concert on his Love On Tour. In addition, mysterious posters with the slogan “We Belong Together” recently appeared in several major cities, including Berlin’s Rosenthaler Platz. According to the press release, the album will feature twelve songs and will once again be produced by Kid Harpoon. We’re now going to get to the bottom of how his new music identifies with the Berlin techno vibe and to what extent his recent stays in the city could be related to this.

Early on Wednesday afternoon, January 21, 2026, hundreds of young fans waited for hours in front of the Rough Trade record store in Neukölln to listen to Harry Styles’ latest single, “Aperture,” for a few minutes. The announcement was made just the day before on Instagram—a single post was enough to attract fans from Berlin and all over Germany. And for many, the pre-listening turned out to be more than just a quick preview. Inside Rough Trade, visitors wore headphones, bounced to the beat of the music, let the sounds wash over them, and sought eye contact with each other to share their enthusiasm. The reactions were clear: some fans had tears in their eyes. “I thought it was really intense,” said one visitor after listening. “I don’t know where my head is,” commented another visitor. The song is very different from the previous album and is characterized by a clear electro beat. “You can hear the Berlin influence,” she added.

Harry Styles wouldn’t be the first to be inspired by the Berlin vibe. As we saw last year, Spanish icon Rosalía released her song “Berghain, “ which caused an international sensation. The perfume industry has also long been inspired by Berlin’s nightlife, creating fragrances dedicated to the city’s unique flair. Rumor has it that Styles’ new single is also influenced by the Berlin club scene. It is also well known that he is a fan of the local club culture and has been spotted at Berghain several times in the past – including with his girlfriend Zoë Kravitz. Against this backdrop, it stands to reason that the electronic touch of his new music could have originated in Berlin.
Although it has not been confirmed when and where exactly he found his inspiration, one thing is certain: Styles has been spotted at the Berlin Marathon, among other places, as well as at Rosenthaler Platz. He is also said to have been seen in front of the famous Hansa Studios in Kreuzberg, which is why there is already speculation that parts of the album may have been created in Berlin. In any case, there seems to be no question that he feels at home in the capital – according to rumors, he even purchased a property in Berlin in 2025.
