The Berlin premiere this year was a complete success – tickets sold out in record time. Over 500 drones danced to the beat of a live string quartet on September 18, 19 and 20, painting fascinating motifs in the Berlin night sky. The popular open-air show, which has already thrilled people all over the world, returns to the capital in 2026. On three evenings, from April 23 to 25, 2026, the Gardens of the World will once again shine as a magical backdrop full of light, music and emotion. The date on April 23 has been added due to popular demand. This year it will be even more spectacular: more than 1,000 drones – twice as many as before – will dance to new live sounds and conjure up breathtaking motifs in the sky, while on the ground over 10,000 candles will make eyes light up.
Drones that enchant the world
Drone technology has never been so magical: as soon as the music starts, synchronized drones transform the night sky into a sparkling play of glowing, colourful motifs – including many new ones that provide special surprises. The DroneArt Show is an open-air concert like you’ve never experienced before. Probably the biggest stage in the world: the sky itself. The drones turn it into a canvas and dance floor at the same time, guided by the moving live sounds of a string quartet. This unique show concept has already generated excitement in cities around the world, with over 500,000 tickets sold in total. In April 2026, the DroneArt show will return to the Gardens of the World in Berlin for two dates.
Art, technology and live classical music
The drones move impressively to the beat of the live quartet, which brings timeless works of classical music to the stage. From Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons to Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, you can expect a selection of unforgettable pieces that will get under your skin. This time there are also new compositions to which the drones create completely new motifs. But it’s not just the new images and sounds that will give you goosebumps – the luminosity of 1,000 drones, twice as many as in the premiere, will take the DroneArt show to an even higher level.
