Housed in a 19th-century listed building, Katzentempel on Friedrichstraße combines a historic ambience with animal companionship: rescued cats live here, roaming freely in the café and creating a relaxed, purring atmosphere. There is also a completely vegan menu with bowls, breakfast, coffee, and homemade cakes – sustainable, animal-friendly, and ideal for a little break in the middle of Berlin. Pee Pee’s
The cat café in Neukölln is a real trendsetter, having opened in 2013 – well before the global hype surrounding cafés with cuddly cats. It was also the first café of its kind to open in Berlin and proudly bears this title in its name to this day. Here you will find the old hands… er, cats Caruso and Pelle, as well as three new kittens who joined the four-pawed team in March 2024. Culinary delights include homemade cakes and pies, as well as hearty dishes prepared fresh on site using organic ingredients. The menu features a wide selection of breakfast options, from pancakes to tomato and mozzarella sandwiches. As the three new additions are still getting used to their new surroundings, guests are kindly requested not to bring children under the age of 5 at this time.

This café for cat lovers is located in Charlottenburg. Here you will be welcomed by Gretta, Caroline, Ali, Jewels, and Kanzo—or maybe not, depending on their mood. Here, too, you can expect plenty of coffee and cake in a relaxed atmosphere. In addition to sweets, you can also look forward to a selection of hearty sandwiches. Every Sunday at 4 p.m., the café also hosts live music sessions, which definitely round off the experience.
