The story of Sleeping Beauty has a long tradition – its origins lie in medieval folklore and found their way into literature through Charles Perrault’s French version. The fairy tale of the sleeping princess and the redeeming kiss of love has lost none of its fascination over the centuries. At Ballet of Lights, this timeless story unfolds in a new splendor: sparkling costumes, elegant choreography, and Tchaikovsky’s incomparable music interweave to create a sensual overall experience of light, movement, and sound.
Ballet of Lights: Cinderella in a dazzling show
Most people are probably familiar with the famous fairy tale of Cinderella from their childhood. The story follows young Ella, who is treated terribly by her stepmother and stepsisters and has to work hard for them—until one day she attends a royal ball, where she wins the heart of a prince, who then searches for her through her lost slipper and marries her. The roots of the original story have existed for many centuries, but rest assured: you have never experienced it like this before, as presented by Ballet of Lights!
