Embark on an exciting journey to Machu Picchu
School may have started again, but you can still go on a journey! A very special expedition awaits you at the Kantgaragenpalast in Berlin. Head to the legendary Machu Picchu in Peru and discover the secrets of the lost Inca empire. Thanks to state-of-the-art VR technology, the Inca city is recreated in great detail. Explore the Andean peaks, hike along the impressive terraces and temples and enjoy spectacular views of Machu Picchu. Go pick apples

Autumn is the perfect time to pick fresh Brandenburg apples. Just 30 kilometers from Berlin, you can pick delicious organic apples straight from the tree at Apfelhof MĂĽller. A short break from the city takes you out into the countryside – perfect for relaxing with family or friends. Pears and plums are also waiting to be picked fresh from the tree here. Sure, a weekend in the city is always exciting, but why not take a spontaneous trip into the countryside and enjoy the fall to the fullest?
Celebrate Halloween

Halloween is on October 31 – an experience you shouldn’t miss out on! From preparing your costume to partying with friends: Halloween is an all-round fun event. Not only can you dress up and slip into your favorite horror role, but you can also decorate your home and throw your own little party.
If you prefer to party away from home, students aged 16 and over can attend the Mega Halloween Abiparty at the Soda Club on October 29, where various DJ sets on several floors will set the mood. Not in the mood for parties? Then perhaps a ghost tour through the city is just the thing for you – exciting spooky stories and historical locations await you here.
Take beautiful fall walks

Fancy some nature without leaving Berlin? Don’t worry – the city has plenty of idyllic parks, avenues and lakes where you can enjoy the golden colors of autumn. Stretch your legs in the fresh air while the autumn landscape brings you peace and quiet. The Havelhöhenweg trail offers around ten kilometers of beautiful places to discover in Grunewald. If you particularly want to admire the colorful sea of leaves, you should plan a trip to Charlottenburg Palace Park. You can experience the harvest season up close in the Herzberge Landscape Park in Lichtenberg – including collecting chestnuts and enjoying the colors of nature.
Space travel at FEZ Berlin

A modern space center awaits you at FEZ Berlin with the Orbitall. Since its opening, it has already been visited by famous astronauts such as Sigmund Jähn, Edgar Mitchell and Thomas Reiter. In interactive exhibitions, you can find out how astronauts prepare for their mission and what life is like on the International Space Station. In the training hall, you can test your own skills on replicas of ISS modules – and gain exciting first impressions on a virtual tour.
