Instead of traditional Spanish tapas, Fusion Delight on bustling Falckensteinstraße serves Asian fusion cuisine in bite-sized portions. The concept combines Vietnamese street food with flavors ranging from Saigon to Seoul. Bright neon signs reading “Asian Tapas Bar” dominate the interior and underscore the restaurant’s laid-back atmosphere.
The dishes are specifically designed to be shared at the table. Guests can choose from extensive menu combinations such as the “Pink Night Tower” or the “Seoul Street Riot,” which, as set meals, offer portions large enough for several people. The selection of small plates ranges from crispy chicken bao buns to breaded golden fried shrimp to Thai-style salmon.
Soju from the tap tower
A standout feature of the drink menu is the 1.5-liter soju tower. This serving vessel brings a piece of Korean drinking culture right to the table. A bottle of the traditional rice liquor is placed upside down in a large dispenser, from which guests can pour their own drinks. The selection is complemented by colorful cocktails, some of which are garnished with fresh watermelon.
When it comes to desserts, Fusion Delight blends Asian influences with well-known classics. Alongside a classic crème brûlée, the menu features a mango sticky rice roll. While the latter is a visual standout, the flavor profile of the rice roll doesn’t win over every guest right away. The restaurant in Kreuzberg is open Sunday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.; on weekends, the bar closes at midnight.
