You’ll find the ultimate family outing right outside the capital. The Germendorf Animal and Dinosaur Park attracts explorers of all ages. Spanning 69 hectares, the amusement park offers everything your heart desires. Look forward to gigantic prehistoric reptiles, petting sessions with curious goats, and high-energy fun for the kids at the adventure playground.
Our tip: If dinosaurs make you think of Rex from Toy Story and meerkats make you think of Timon from The Lion King, then why not stop by this fantastic concert!
The Germendorf Animal and Dinosaur Park is a massive paradise for dinosaur fans

In the Dinosaur Forest, you’ll be immersed in the world before our time. Over 30 life-size dinosaur models line the nature trails. From giant herbivores to fearsome carnivorous dinosaurs, there are impressively detailed dinosaurs to marvel at.
An absolute highlight for brave kids is the steaming replica of a volcano. Embark on a prehistoric adventure and spark the imagination of your little explorers. Of course, the park is also an ideal destination for kids’ birthday parties!
Experience animals up close in the spacious wildlife park

In addition to the prehistoric action, true animal lovers will also get their money’s worth. Over 650 animals from all over the world live in the spacious enclosures, including zebras, alpacas, flamingos, and exotic antelopes. There are even exclusive meet-and-greets!
Particularly popular are the walk-through outdoor enclosure with friendly sika deer and the lovingly designed petting zoo. Here, children can get up close to the native animal residents and feed them with the park’s own feed.
Fun, games, and the best way to get there

The day is rounded out by cozy picnic areas, small carousels, and a large playground. Especially on warm summer days, the grounds—with their shady forest paths and swimming spots —are the ideal destination to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
By car: Take the B96 (northbound highway, Oranienburg-Süd exit) and the B273 to Germendorf. Parking is available on site.
